The One Standard series is the first option in a three-tiered set. This is the entry-level model that comes with a single set of filters, one lanyard, and a carrying case.
The One® is designed with our Perfect Fit Technology™ and 100% with the musician in mind. I worked with Dr. Scott Weiss And the University of South Carolina Marching Band to solve a problem that his musicians were having. They needed to hear their section leaders instructions the musicians in their section and the environment around them while wearing hearing protection. It was Solely his effort that started me working on a solution to solve this. One major issue is the only musician earplug on the market was an etymotic filtered earplug.
When it is used, either custom or generic gives one a plugged up feeling, I found out when a wind instrumentalist was playing, they could not hear the color of the notes in their head. The answer from Etymotic after these players would explain their discomfort was they just needed to get used to that feeling. This was unacceptable to me as I believe that we should make the process of playing music more enjoyable and less of a threat to musicians hearing. So I worked hand in hand with the USC marching band from 2015 to 2016 and designed “The One” using specific feedback from every instrumentalist in the band, and the final product is the result of that consistent refinement.
The One® is our specialized patented custom earplugs for musicians and the only one on the market, which allows the musician to hear themselves and others clearly.
This “spatial awareness” is not available with any other product, which is why The One Musician Earplug Trainer: is the new industry standard.

We use a set of impressions of your ear’s to make any product you like. Once we have your ear impressions in hand, it usually takes 21 business days to craft the handmade one of a kind, perfect fit product of your choice. We then send a tracking number to you when they ship.

Hi Kim,
My name is Chase Banks and I’m on staff with the Carolina Band. During band camp, I was fitted for the “full stop” model earplug as well as for the custom molded transparent version with filters. I am beyond disgusted at the moment as yesterday in-between rehearsals my earplugs seemed to have gone missing. I was using them at the School of Music for a Wind Ensemble rehearsal, and then made my way to the marching band facility and realized that they were no longer in my earplug case. This happened yesterday at around 4:00 pm and it truly ruined my day. I cancelled all engagements I had today to retrace my steps and spent hours roaming around the school and marching band facility trying to find them. I used them with the walkie-talkie set up last Saturday and they were incredible! I normally don’t lose items so this has been driving me crazy. I’ll be making an announcement today at band rehearsal about them to see if a student happened to pick them up, but in the event that they cannot be found I wanted to see what could be done about getting another pair. I have the full-stops still but honestly after using the transparent earplugs with the filters I can’t see myself using the full-stops anymore. Plus, having the walkie-talkie set up was incredibly convenient. I apologize for the “wordy” email, I am just very torn up about the situation and am hoping that they turn up very soon.
