How to choose the right earplugs
The One Standard series is the first option in a three-tiered set. This is the entry-level model that comes with a single set of filters, one lanyard, and a carrying case.
Power is a fascinating concept, and as a leader of young men and women your immense power has the ability to influence the habits and futures of your students. But as an educator, you know that students respond not only to what you say but what your actions and habits are. One of those habits that we’ve identified in recent years is whether or not you or your students are wearing hearing protection while you perform and practice and rehearse. If you do your homework, you will see that the average band director retires with dual hearing aids. We want to stop this massive problem in the marching band world. The next issue is that when a director puts in solid earplugs they cant hear the world around them. So we have this product that protects the user but does not isolate you from your instructors and players. The One uses two filters in combination to first screen out the sound and protect you from hearing damage while allowing you to retain the color of the sound around you. Most other products only have one filter and by using only one filter you open your hearing up to hearing loss.

We recommend that you choose the 20 or 25 decibel filters as you will be subjected to extremely overwhelming decibel levels that require the most protection possible.

I have a band and we usually play at weddings and other events. I play the drums that’s why most of the time I get exposed to its loud banging. On the start of January 2020, I started hearing ringing and scratching in my ears. I got my ears checked and the doctor told me that it’s Tinnitus. The doctor suggested that maybe I can start wearing hearing protection. I searched the web for custom earplugs because I’ve already tried other earplugs before and they all just suck. A provider(rep) of them from Irving,TX got my ear impressions fitted around 1st week of February and I decided to get a pair of these in red and I just loved them. I got them maybe after 3 weeks but it’s worth the wait. Good thing they arrived before the COVID-19 fiasco. Been wearing them since and they work like magic! Thanks a lot Big Ear!

I decided to buy these earplugs because I really didn’t like the foam earplugs that my school is providing. Anyway, these are the best ones that I tried.
